The University of North Carolina-Wilmington (UNC) is paying a steep price for discriminating against a Christian professor. More than $710,000 to be exact.
That's on top of the previous sanctions against UNC. In April, a federal court ordered the UNC to promote a professor to the rank of full professor, a position it originally denied him, and to pay him $50,000 in back pay.
