Se sent comme à la maison, le très attendu nouvel enregistrement studio de l’un des solistes les plus loués de Southern Gospel, Ivan Parker, devrait sortir le 2 août chez Difference Media. Produit par Garry Jones (Canton Junction, Brian Free), le projet - qui rend hommage aux racines de Parker - est une collection de 11 classiques du gospel qui a inspiré de manière indélébile la propre vocation de l’artiste. De la chanson d'ouverture écrite par Bill et Gloria Gaither, "Feeling At Home in The Presence Of Jesus", aux dernières lignes de "Through It All", écrite par la dernière icône du genre, Andraé Crouch, Se sent comme à la maison allie le style caractéristique de Parker à des chansons qui ont contribué à définir un âge d'or de la musique gospel. Parmi les autres moments forts de l’album, on peut citer le succès du film à succès «Why Me» de Kris Kristofferson en 1973; «Je viens juste de parler avec toi Seigneur» et «Les saintes collines du ciel, appelez-moi», tous deux écrits par Dottie Rambo, auteur-compositeur-interprète primé au GRAMMY et Dove Award. le Dallas Holm écrit «Toi et moi Jésus»; et «His Hand In Mine», par Mosie Lister, membre du Temple de la renommée de la musique Gospel.
