C'est aujourd'hui — l'album de Phil Thompson Lion de Juda, son projet de 11 chansons avec Integrity Music est maintenant disponible. C'était en 2017 lorsque Phil Thompson s'est avancé de derrière la plume de l'auteur-compositeur et s'est engagé dans un seul objectif : le culte. Depuis lors, l'artiste de gospel et de culte a sillonné le monde pour adorer à travers le Ghana, le Nigeria, le Royaume-Uni, les Pays-Bas, le Canada, les îles des Caraïbes et les États-Unis, et avec les chansons trouvées sur Lion Of Judah, il partage toujours le même cœur de dévotion passionnée avec le monde. En écrivant ces chansons sur l'espoir et la foi renaissant des cendres de l'année écoulée, Lion Of Judah est sa réponse à l'anxiété et aux problèmes auxquels nous sommes tous confrontés et rappelle au corps du Christ la solide espérance trouvée en Jésus. « Ce sont des chansons que j'ai écrites pendant la pandémie, ce qui a été une période stressante pour nous tous », explique Thompson. « De tenir ses promesses lorsque nous sommes remplis de peur à l'abandon et à l'accueil de la nouveauté et de la fraîcheur… de sombrer dans l'anxiété à surmonter et à proclamer avec audace qui nous sommes, c'était comme si tout était brûlé, mais maintenant, le sol est plus ça n'a jamais été.
